Winter Commencement

The University's Winter Commencement will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center, located on the University's Main Campus.

Students who have successfully completed the Winter Commencement Participation Form may participate in the Winter Commencement ceremony. Your name will be included in the Commencement program and your name will be read as you cross the stage.

Your guest tickets (a MAXIMUM of 4) and your academic regalia (cap and gown) will be available for pick-up beginning Wednesday, January 2 - Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Campus Store during regular store hours.

  1. Spring Commencement

    The Spring 2013 Commencement will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Oakdale Theater, located in Wallingford, CT. The undergraduate ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and the graduate ceremony at 3 p.m. Please continue to check www.newhaven.edu

    Mick Maurer, president of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation will serve as the Winter Commencement speaker. Honorary degrees will be presented to Mr. Maurer, State Senator Toni Harp and Larry Flanagan, special assistant to the president.
