The UNH bachelor’s program in nutrition and dietetics provides the background that allows you to gain a nutrition credential to enter the challenging field of nutrition and dietetics. To become as a Registered Dietitian (RD), you must:
- Earn a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics
- Complete Didactic Program requirements
- Complete supervised practice in an accredited, post-graduate dietetic internship program
- Successfully pass the national registration exam.
Once you complete all of the above, you will be credentialed as an RD. This credential is the only nationally recognized credential allowing individuals to practice throughout the United States.
