Academic Distinction – Awarded to Chelsea Donovan
Awarded to a student, enrolled in any graduate Education program, whose scholarly achievements display intellectual prowess, remarkable creativity, and/or prescient knowledge of the foundations and future of the education profession.
Chelsea Donovan is currently completing her student teaching practicum as an elementary education candidate in the Education Department teacher preparation program. Throughout her program, she has excelled in coursework and field experiences as well as on state licensure exams.
Faculty members cited her academic versatility, including her knowledge and prior experiences working with special needs students and her musical and creative talents. She distinguished herself in coursework by always doing more than required. Her GPA at the end of her coursework is 4.0.
