We will be hosting the first annual Print & Pixel Unconference on May 3rd, 2014, at the Saw Mill Campus.
The unconference is an open, educational event in which teachers, students, and the public are invited to attend and present on some of their strategies for improving teaching and learning in the classroom. An unconference is organized around the idea that the "power belongs to the people." In effect...if you attend, you can hold a session and speak. The theme of this first event is on literacy and technology in education. We will also include elements of a Chromecamp. This means that we will include a series of sessions focusing on the use of cloud computing, Chromebooks, and use of the Chrome OS.
Please feel free to attend if you're interested in spending a day thinking about how to better utilize literacy and technology instruction in your classroom. For more information and to apply, please contact Ian O'Byrne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
