Career Placement for Interior Design

Career Placement

  • The interior design program provides opportunities to work directly with interior designers, architects, and other industry professionals through internships and job placement.
  • The Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) sponsors a Career Night at UNH each year, featuring student portfolio exhibits, job fairs, and industry trade shows.
  • Our alumni work in a broad range of interior design and architectural firms such as Antanozzi Associates, ID3 Architecture, Perkins & Will, JCJ, Transystems, Arabolos Design, ATL Environments, and Shelter Interiors. Specialty areas at these firms include airports, educational facilities, corporate offices, restaurants, and residential design.
  • Other graduates have pursued careers with facility planning departments, product distributors and manufacturers, Pepsico, OFI Contract Interiors, Red Thread, RAM Woodworks, The Kitchen Factorand Kitchens by Deane.

Graduate School

Pre-architecture students have continued their education in architecture-related fields and graduate programs.
