Undeclared Exploratory at UNH
UNH recognizes that students may often enter college with a desire to explore academic options before declaring a major. The Undeclared Exploratory track is designed for this exact reason. During the first two years of study, an Undeclared Exploratory student can complete general education requirements and enroll in courses from majors that are of interest. Many students decide on a major in their first year as well but either way, through this process Undeclared Exploratory students discover their passion and transition into a specific major.
It is important that Undeclared Exploratory students have opportunities to learn about career paths and programs of study. For this reason, UNH has a dedicated team of academic support staff and advisors who work closely with Undeclared Exploratory students so that they can make informed decisions. These advisors talk about the variety of strong academic programs at UNH and help direct students to important faculty and program resources.
