The National Weather Service is predicting that Hurricane Sandy may cause significant wind, rain and flooding problems for our region during the next few days. As a result, the University has cancelled all classes and events on Monday and Tuesday. Non-essential employees are asked to work from home on these two days.
Essential employees are expected to work as is usual in emergency conditions.
The University’s Emergency Management Team has been meeting throughout the weekend, and working closely with state and local officials to track Hurricane Sandy and prepare for the storm.
