Career Placement for Political Science

Career Placement

All political science majors should discuss career goals and educational objectives with a Department adviser within one month of entrance into the program.

Graduate School

  • Advising is provided by Department faculty to prepare pre-law and graduate-school-bound students for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
  • The number of graduates who go on to higher education is significant in comparison to the number from competing schools.
  • With our high placement rate (75 percent), UNH advisers are often called upon to help students from other colleges and universities as they apply to graduate and law schools.
