Each undergraduate student must complete a career-related internship, job, or co-op placement between the end of the sophomore year and graduation.
Student are expected to undertake a supervised work experience of at least 200 hours, preferably in the local computer science industry. The internship or job placement must be approved by the academic adviser, who will approve registration in a one-credit course, CS 398 (Computer Science Internship). The internship outcomes will be evaluated by both student and internship supervisor.
