During the Academic Year, the Beckerman Recreation Center membership fee for all current full-time and part-time UNH undergraduate students is included in their tuition package. Therefore, all current full-time and part-time UNH undergraduate students are eligible to activate their memberships to the Beckerman Recreation Center.
To activate a membership, all current full-time and part-time UNH undergraduate students must visit the Welcome Desk at the Beckerman Recreation Center to complete their emergency contact information and Membership Contract.
A current UNH ID Card is required for all full-time and part-time UNH undergraduate students to gain access to the facility.
TeamREC (Student Employment)
TeamREC is an experiential based employment program, where student employees are challenged to manage the programs of ChargerREC and the operations of the Beckerman Recreation Center. ChargerREC is the largest employer on-campus, employing over 100 students each year.
RECSports is an extensive intramural sport program which provides participants the opportunity to compete and socialize through organized sports leagues, one-day tournaments, special events, and online programs. Over 50 team and individual sport programs are offered throughout the academic year. Access to all RECSports programs is included in each facility membership.
Club Sports are recreational or athletic student-led organizations who compete with other universities and colleges. Each club is a UNH Recognized Student Organization and member of a regional or national governing league/association. Participation and individual dues vary by club. GroupX are drop-in fitness classes designed for participants of all levels. A diverse range of classes is highlighted by Spinning, Meditation, Yoga, Cardio/Strength, Core, Zumba, and High Intensity based formats. Over 25 classes are offered each week during the academic year. Access to all GroupX classes are included in each facility membership.
Personal Training offers participants an opportunity for 1-on-1 or small group fitness training. Personal trainers will work with participants to develop an individualize program to meet their personal fitness goals. Personal Training is a fee based program with several packages and rates available.
Premium Fitness Classes
Premium Fitness Classes are classes which require pre-registration and are designed to focus on progressively developing the fitness of participants. A variety of classes are offered each semester and include various aspects of functional training. Premium Fitness Classes are fee based programs which vary by class.
OutdoorREC are hiking trips which offer participants the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature. OutdoorREC trips are fee based programs which vary by trip.
