NIRSA is the leading resource for professional and student development, education, and research in collegiate recreational sports.  Campus Recreation at the University of New Haven is committed to following NIRSA standards and practices and actively participates in the organization. Professionals and students at the University of New Haven attend and present at conferences and participate in various committees. By doing so we ensure that the campus is providing the best experiences to our students through recreation, sport, fitness, and student employment.

Connecticut/Rhode Island State Workshop. August 1st, 2012
Hosted by the University of New Haven
  • It was a one day workshop that included pre-conference activity of either golfing or working out, a facility tour, a director led opening session, lunch, 6 different options for round tables discussions, and dinner.  There were about 35 in attendance from 10 different schools
