The backbone of Charger REC is Team REC; our student employment program. We only hire UNH students that truly want to be a part of our team and are dedicated to the success of the department. The training and experiences through campus recreation employment lead to lifelong student success and excellence.TeamREC Mission:
TeamREC members provide an atmosphere of fun, respect, and responsibility. As student professionals we strive to deliver quality programs and services to both students and members. As a result we will gain leadership, social, and communication skills not found in the classroom.

These positions are open to undergraduate, graduate, work study, and bursary students interested in working in a team environment committed to the mission and philosophy of the department.
GroupX Instructor/Personal Trainer
If you are interested in being a Group X instructor of a Personal Trainer, you must already be certified. Instructors and trainers are hired on a as-needed basis.

Officials Training
Anyone interested in officiating, MUST ATTEND the following training dates for their desired sport. Officials are requested to have a general background of sports. The trainings will be in lieu of a typical application and interview process. Officials are not required to submit applications and/or resumes. Any questions, contact recsports@newhaven.edu

Informational Sessions
Any student Interested in a facilities position MUST ATTEND an Information Session before their application will be considered. The last information session of the year will be:
Friday, February 22nd at 12:00pm
The sessions will last approximately 30 minutes. Late comers will NOT be let in. Please plan accordingly. Once you have attended the mandatory information sessions offered, you will need to download and print the Application and Staff Preference Sheet (both are in PDF format). But remember, your application will not be considered until you attend an Informational Session. Along with your application and preference sheet, students are asked to provide a resume and cover letter. All forms need to be dropped off at the front desk by Monday February 25th at 12:00pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
