Golshan Javadian is an Assistant Professor of Management at University of New Haven. She joined University of New Haven because of its reputation in experiential learning and its warm culture. Prof. Javadian is teaching Management and Organization (MGMT2210), Ethics and Diversity (MGMT2240) and Human Resource Management (MGMT6637) in fall 2014. Prof. Javadian uses mixed methods of teaching, implementing lecture and experiential teaching methods (e.g. cases, videos, individual and group exercises, etc). Her research interests include stereotypes in organizational and entrepreneurial settings, high quality connections in entrepreneurial networks, relative deprivation/gratification, psychology of Entrepreneurship, and diversity. Prof. Javadian’s research has been published in several peer reviewed journals including Industrial and Organizational Psychology Journal and Journal of International Entrepreneurship. She has also presented her research at top national and international academic conferences (e.g., AOM, BCERC).
