After returning to the United States, participants will undertake a four-month post study abroad program. This program will be a combination of continued online discussion, completion of curriculum projects, evaluation of the Arabic language acquisition, indexing digital content collected during travel, revision of product and online publishing. Participants will work together to continue their conversations with educators from Morocco, collaborating on correspondence projects and cementing the learning partnerships they initiated during the program.
During the post-trip phase, participants are expected to:
- Finalize their curriculum products for use with students
- Outline a plan for sharing these products and experiences with colleagues at UNH or their respective school district
- Make a minimum of one presentation to a local civic or non-profit community organization to extend the results of the project beyond the educational communities of the participants
Participant’s products will be posted on the University and school district websites so they are accessible to interested educators.
