Community Service

Mr. Peterson is passionate about giving back to the community and prides himself on affiliations with organizations and groups which make an impact. He is actively involved with Soldiers' Angels, an organization that provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families. He is also an active member in Indian Princess Seminole Nation, an organization dedicated to providing services that enrich the father and daughter bond, and with Soles4Souls, which distributes shoes to people in need. He joined the University of New Haven Board of Directors in 2010.

Mr. Peterson received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Haven in 1988. The University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in 2017.

Mr. Peterson, his wife Karen, and daughters Mackenzie and Nicole reside in Coral Springs, Fla.
