Find the Right Time to Study Abroad

Most majors allow students to study abroad. Because most core courses are offered early in the college career, the earlier you discuss study abroad with your advisor, the better. Students work closely with their academic advisor to have their courses pre-approved before their semester abroad so that they can be sure the classes they take will apply to their degree and keep them on track to graduate. Meet with your advisor as soon as you can to discuss a plan of action that works best for you.
