Gaming Arts Academy

All Girls Math

This academy is open enrollment.

Instructed by an award-winning game industry artist, students will develop electronic and tabletop game illustration skills. Level design and character design projects will provide students with high quality portfolio pieces upon completion of the course. Students will also learn perspective, anatomy, digital painting, and professional illustration techniques by way of lectures and demonstrations. Their knowledge of gaming industry artists and the business thereof will be greater than ever.

Outcomes:

  • Learn digital painting techniques for figures, vehicles, and props
  • Become Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Alchemy, and Sketchup
  • Working knowledge of top concept artists and their methods in the field
  • Isometric, Orthographic, and Cutaway views
  • The ability to paint realistically rendered interior/exterior settings

Requirements: Participants must be entering 9th-12th grades for the 2020-21 school year.
