Enrollment Deposit for Undergraduate Students

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FOR 2014 FALL SEMESTER (Undergraduate)

Please note: information on this page pertains to U.S.-based students only. International students should click here.

Students who have been accepted to the University of New Haven for the fall semester must submit a non-refundable enrollment commitment fee in order to secure a spot in our class. This fee is $500 for students who wish to live in university-sponsored housing and $300 for students who plan to commute. Please note that $300 of all deposits (both resident and commuter) is applied as a separate fee for orientation and registration. It is not applied towards tuition bills. The additional $200 for resident students is applied directly to the student’s housing bill.

Freshman applicants have a final deadline of May 1, 2014 to submit their enrollment commitment fee. Transfer students who are admitted for the fall semester have a priority deadline of May 1, 2014 to submit a deposit. Please note that housing is not guaranteed for students who submit a deposit after May 1st.

It is extremely important for students who wish to live in university-sponsored housing to get their deposit in as soon as possible. In past years, many students have ended up on a wait list for housing by not submitting their deposit in a timely fashion. You can pay your deposit by sending your enrollment commitment form in the mail, or you can utilize our online payment system by clicking "pay your deposit" below.

It is also very important that students not submit a deposit until they have definitely decided that they are going to attend the University of New Haven. Please note that the University of New Haven has the right to withdraw its offer of admission for the following reasons: any part of your admission application contains misrepresentations or falsifications; you do not complete the requirements for high school graduation prior to the term in which you are planning to enroll; you have a significant decline in your academic performance during the remainder of your senior year; or you submit a deposit to more than one college or university.
