	Information Sessions and Campus Tours Get an up-close-and-personal look at the University of New Haven and all of the exciting programs and opportunities we have to offer you! During your visit, you will meet with one of our Admission Representatives for a one-hour information session, take a tour of campus led by one of our Admissions Team (A-Team) student tour guides, and even meet individually with an admissions counselor if you wish to. Sessions are offered every day, including many Saturdays and Sundays!
	Open Houses We offer four Open Houses on our campus each year (three in the fall and one in the spring). An Open House is a larger event that allows prospective students and families to take a comprehensive look at the University of New Haven. You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members from your academic area of interest, hear from current students about their UNH experience, and chat with staff members from offices such as financial aid, residential life, athletics, career development and student success. You will also be able to take a campus tour highlighting classrooms, dining facilities, our recreation center, a residence hall room and more!
	Enhanced Visits The Enhanced Visit program allows students to get an up-close-and-personal look at many of the unique majors and programs offered at UNH. In addition to meeting with a member of the admissions staff, you will also "enhance" your visit by meeting with a faculty member and current students in your specific area of interest and join us for lunch in our Dining Hall. Programs offering Enhanced Visits include: Marine Biology Business (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management) Engineering Forensic Science Communication (Film, Journalism, Radio, TV Production, Convergent Media) Visual Arts (Digital Art & Design, Graphic Design, Art, Pre-Architecture) Music, Music Industry, Music & Sound Recording Sports Management Hospitality & Tourism Management (Event & Tourism Management, Food Service Management, Hotel & Resort Management, and Spa Management)
	Explore UNH Days An Explore UNH Day enables prospective and admitted students to meet respected faculty and accomplished speakers in their area of interest while touring some of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the region. Many of our Explore UNH Days feature prominent speakers like forensic science faculty member Dr. Henry C. Lee and ESPN's Chris Berman, one of the world's most renowned sports broadcasters. There are many Explore UNH Days scheduled each year, including: Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Sports Management, Fire Science, and more!
	Group Tours and Information Sessions We host multiple high school, community college, and guidance counselor group tours throughout the year. These programs are customizable to your group and can include both an information session and a campus tour.
	Interviews The UNH Admissions Staff is committed to giving each student the personalized attention he or she deserves. The On-Campus Interview is an opportunity for a prospective student to learn more specific information about programs and opportunities, and enables our Admissions Staff to ensure that our university fits the needs of the student. We also offer Regional Interviews in your home state throughout the fall as well as Virtual Interviews.
	Connecticut Instant Decision Day Our admissions staff is excited to provide students from the local area to come to campus on select dates to meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor and receive an on-the-spot instant decision on their application! Students interested in receiving an instant application decision should schedule an appointment and plan to bring their completed application materials with them to campus.
	College Retreat This program will allow students the opportunity to immerse themselves within the diverse university culture. Prospective candidates will be matched with current students for an overnight experience based on academic program and extracurricular interests.
	Summer Preview Days Summer Preview Days are designed for prospective students that are about to enter their senior year of high school. We offer these programs throughout the summer, by your college of interest: the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and the Tagliatela College of Engineering. The purpose of a Summer Preview Day is to show you everything UNH has to offer and to encourage you to make a return visit when school is in session and apply for admission.
