The University of New Haven is proud to offer prospective students the opportunity to explore some of the outstanding programs at the University of New Haven in more detail. 

An Explore UNH Day enables a student to meet respected faculty and accomplished students in the area of their interest while touring some of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the region.

This event will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012  for students interested in our psychology programs (including general, community/clinical, and forensic psychology).

Diverse Offerings

The psychology program at the University of New Haven offers students the chance to concentrate in general psychology, community/clinical psychology, and forensic psychology. Many students have also taken a pre-education track for K-6 teaching certification as part of our popular 4+1 education program or gone on to earn a master's degree in our nationally renowned Industrial / Organizational Psychology program. Undergraduate Research

Honors students majoring in psychology complete a thesis that involves an empirical independent research study. As a main component of our focus on experiential education, undergraduate faculty-mentored research provides a unique and challenging learning opportunity that many colleges and universities don't provide.
