I graduated from Seton Hall University in May 2011 with a bachelor's in diplomacy and international relations, as well as a minor in French. As an undergraduate student, I was very involved in campus activities. During my freshman year, I pledged Alpha Phi, and eventually served on the Executive Council of the sorority as the director of member education. I was also a member of our Model United Nations team where I competed in conferences at Yale University and the University of Chicago.
I was lucky enough to complete my French minor through a month-long study abroad program in Paris. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and I would strongly encourage you to pursue one of the many study abroad programs offered at UNH. We even have our own satellite campus in Prato, Italy!
Before becoming an admissions counselor at the University of New Haven, I served as a tour guide for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Seton Hall for three years and as a resident assistant for two. The experiences I had as a student worker ultimately led to my pursuing a career in higher education after graduation. There are many similar types of campus employment for you here at UNH.
I currently work with students from the state of New York, specifically the five boroughs of New York City as well as Westchester County and Rockland County. I am also the liaison to our College of Business where I assist with several initiatives such as the Fast Track Study Option and the Dean’s Scholarship Challenge. I am here to help you throughout your college search and application process and will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I truly enjoy working with students and their families to find them a home away from home for the next four years. I cannot wait to help you learn more about the University of New Haven!
