I graduated from the University of New Haven in 2015 with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Victim Service Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Throughout my time as an undergraduate student, I was involved in various aspects of campus including clubs and organizations, student employment, and experiential education. On campus I was the President of the Victimology Club, a Peer Educator for Violence Prevention and Intervention, a campus tour guide with the A-Team, a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the Honor Society of Experiential Education, and a student worker in the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
Off campus I completed my internship and volunteered at the Rape Crisis Center of Milford and subsequently received my certification as a Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor. During my time as an undergraduate student I also had the opportunity to experience all forms of residential living including living on campus, commuting from home, and living off campus.
Throughout my four years as an undergraduate student, I had my goal set on working with sexual assault victims, domestic violence victims, and other various victims of crime after graduation. During my time as a student I did work with many victims in some of the organizations I got involved in, but I also worked with prospective students and their families. After graduation when I was deciding what jobs to apply for, I couldn’t help but miss working in the admissions office, giving tours, talking to prospective students and their families, and most of all, being on campus at the University I love. I absolutely loved my time at the University of New Haven as an undergraduate and I love working with prospective students and their families to help them through the college application process so that they can have an undergraduate experience as great as mine.
I am currently an Assistant Director of Admissions who works with students in New Jersey and Ohio. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about the University, the application process, or what it is like to be a student at the University of New Haven!
