Q: Who instructs the Executive MBA curriculum?
A: Drawing on the 45 plus professors within the College of Business, our Executive MBA program provides top credentialed instruction from a diverse mix of experts in business studies.
Q: Many schools seem to be starting Executive MBA programs. Is this a new offering of the College of Business?
A: No. The UNH College of Business Executive MBA Program is a pioneer in providing executive education in our region and has been offering its program for over 35 years.
Q: Do I need to take my GMATs to apply?
A: Specifically, an application to the College of Business' Executive MBA Program is requested. However, to commence the application process you do not need to have completed the GMAT exam.
Q: Is Financial Assistance available for an Executive MBA from UNH?
A: The College of Business defers all financial assistance inquiries to the UNH financial aid office which offers comprehensive insight into financial aid. In most instances, a full-time employee will seek sponsorship to our program from their employer.

A: The average age is 39, but our students have been from 25 to 59 years old.
Q: Are all students working professionals?
A: Yes. A key requirement of our program is that students must be employed full-time in a managerial role. On average, students have 8.5 years of management experience.
Q: What if my career background is not in management?
A: We consider all work experience and backgrounds with 2/3rds of our graduates having earned their undergraduate degrees in non-business disciplines.
Q: What is the overall profile of a student?
A: Approximately 15% have advanced degrees; 67/33% male/female ratio; 32% have ethnically diverse backgrounds.
Q: Will I be with the same group of students for the entire 23 months?
A: Yes. These will be your classmates for the 23 month program with whom you will work and collaborate.
Q: How many students will be in my class?
A: Because we are selective and work to build balance into each graduating classes' composition, our class size can vary from 15-25 students.
Q: When does a class commence?
A: We offer a Spring program that kicks off in May at our New Haven location and a Fall session that commences in August.
Q: How long does the program take to complete?
A: Our Executive MBA Program is run on a 23 month schedule.
Q: What days and times are classes held?
A: To accommodate a professional's working schedule, we hold classes every three weeks on Friday's from 2:30pm-10:00pm and on Saturday's from 8:30am-5:00pm in Downtown New Haven.
