Director of Employer Relations and Internships

Arleen Anderson is the University of New Haven's Director of Employer Relations and Internships, directing the University's centralized/decentralized internship initiative as well as developing and facilitating partnerships between employers, students and faculty. Arleen supports the University's internship program by building partnerships between the University and external communities through promoting UNH students and programs for the purpose of expanding experiential learning and full-time employment opportunities. This includes providing in-service education opportunities, professional development opportunities, and consultation for professional faculty and staff members at the University.
Arleen has over a decade of providing excellent career management advising to students and facilitating relationships between students and employers. Prior to joining UNH, she worked at the University of MA's flagship campus in Alumni Career Services, at Embry Riddle's Prescott, AZ campus as the College of Engineering Program Manager and for the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in IN as first an Assistant, then Associate Director, Employer Relations and Career Services where she was responsible for creating and developing the school's co-op and internship programs.
A graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, Arleen has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with minors in Speech Communication and African American Studies.
