The time has come to celebrate the creativity, imagination, and diligence of this spring’s graduating class. All of you have contributed in some way to the success of the students who will be graduating. Therefore, I am asking for your help once again as we celebrate their achievements.
Spring Commencement will be held at Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
The morning ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will include all graduate and undergraduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business.
The afternoon ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. and will include all graduate and undergraduate students from the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences and the Tagliatela College of Engineering.
I hope you will consider volunteering for one or both ceremonies. All of the details for registering as a volunteer can be found by clicking on www.newhaven.edu/commencementvolunteers and following the prompts. You will be entitled to one half (1/2) vacation day for volunteering for one ceremony and a full day for volunteering for both.
Thank you in advance for making this a memorable Commencement for our students and their families.
With best wishes,
