Career Placement for Chemical Engineering

A majority of our faculty have spent time in industry and have established connections with local and international companies.

Faculty advisors work with students to get them internships locally, nationally, or even internationally, particularly for the summer after their junior year. Frequently, these positions lead to full-time positions after graduation. Our graduates have gone on to jobs in fields as diverse as consumer products, fuel cells, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Many of our students have also continued their studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, law and business. Recent graduates have studied at Carnegie Mellon, UCLA, Wesleyan and the University of Rhode Island.
