Jean Husted, M.A., MBA
Jean Husted was named chief of staff and Board secretary in April 2019. In this role, she manages relationships with internal and external constituencies and provides day-to-day guidance and assistance to the leadership team, is responsible for the operations of the Office of the President, oversees key initiatives on behalf of the President, and staffs the University Board of Governors.
Before joining the University, Husted served as Vice President for Human Resources at Quinnipiac University, leading all aspects of the human resources. Prior to serving as chief human resources officer, she was the longtime Vice President/Executive Associate to former Quinnipiac President John Lahey, serving as his close advisor and chief of staff. Prior to Quinnipiac, Husted worked at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., where she held positions including Director of Institutional Research, Executive Assistant to the Provost, and adjunct instructor of economics.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Cornell College, a master’s degree in economics from Northern Illinois, and an MBA from Quinnipiac.
