New Haven Register, October 6, 2011: A crime scene lab was dedicated in honor of Ronald Shaw, the retired president and chief executive of Pilot Pen Corp. of America, and his wife, Phyllis. Shaw, a former member of the UNH Board of Governors and a recipient of a UNH honorary degree in 2007, was responsible for significant growth at Pilot Pen during his tenure and the company’s sponsorship of the tennis tournament in New Haven.
