Hartford Courant, February 2, 2012: UNH introduced a master's degree program in emergency management in the fall, the first school in the state to do so. "The U.S. Department of Labor rates emergency management as one of the fastest-growing fields in the next five to seven years," said professor Wayne Sandford, former deputy director of the state Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
