Denver Post, June 27, 2012: UNH senior Kristen Sackett created a Twitter account so that she could follow the fire her boyfriend is fighting as part of a Missoula helitack crew. Sackett became connected to an evacuee and a reporter covering the High Park fire west of Colorado Springs, updating each other via Twitter. Social media users - officials included - are changing the rules of crisis communication in 140 characters or less.
