New Haven Register, May 4, 2012: UNH engineering majors presented some senior project designs during the annual Engineering Expo that focused on West Haven city improvements. One project related to the city pertained to a problematic intersection well-known to both locals and UNH students: the juncture at Routes 1 and 122. Another project involved a pedestrian bridge to cross Route 1 from the university’s main campus to another area owned by UNH to make it easier for students or even other residents to cross the road.
