Project Longevity Launched to Reduce Gang and Gun Violence in Connecticut’s Cities

U.S. Department of Justice, November 27, 2012: UNH adjunct professor Rev. William Mathis has been appointed New Haven Project Manager of Project Longevity, a US Department of Justice initiative to curb gang violence in Connecticut cities. As program manager, Mathis is responsible for developing effective and sustainable working relationships between law enforcement, service providers and community members to insure Project Longevity’s success.
