Six weeks since 15-month-old Benjamin Seitz died after being left in the car by his father and no charges have been filed by the Danbury state's attorney. But Brian Smith, a former New Jersey police officer and a professor of criminal justice UNH said the investigation seems to be following proper protocol, although he expects investigators will act swiftly once the autopsy report is released. "I have a feeling once that comes out, charges will be filed or not filed right away," Smith said Friday. "The police want to clear this case."
