Attend New Student Orientation (SOAR)

Attend New Student Orientation (SOAR)

Before you start your amazing journey at University of New Haven, you will be going through a new student orientation program known as Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR).

SOAR is a mandatory program that allows you to meet fellow classmates, familiarize yourself with University programs and services, as well as provide an oversight of academic and student life. One of the perks of attending this program is that you will receive your schedule of classes for the fall.

Previously, you registered for your SOAR date and then confirmed it with us.  So, we know you're coming. Now, it's up to you to come to SOAR and have a great time!

Before you come, familiarize yourself with SOAR on our orientation website - learn about what you'll be doing, meet the orientation leaders, and check out options for lodging and dining, things to do in the area, and other campus life resources.

As part of your SOAR confirmation letter, you should have received a SOAR information sheet that must be mailed back to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. If you've misplaced your copy, or never received it, download and print out this SOAR information sheet PDF.
