The Director of Intercultural Relations is responsible for the daily operations of the Office of Intercultural Relations and supervising the undergraduate student employees. She is also responsible for promoting cultural awareness and appreciation of diversity through the coordination of campus-wide educational and social programs celebrating the campus's diversity. Other responsibilities include advising the Office's Diversity Resource Center; serving as a resource, advocate and principal advisor on diversity issues to the campus community and specifically to underrepresented student; and collaborating with various University offices and departments to promote the recruitment and retention of underrepresented students.
Wanda Tyler has been the Director of Intercultural Relations since July 2006 when she joined the UNH community. She graduated in 1996 from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; she earned her Master's degree in Counseling - Student Personnel Services in 1998 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
