Engineering Living Learning Community

Students in the Tagliatela College of Engineering (TCoE) can take advantage of a special engineering Living Learning Community (LLC), mentored by a full-time faculty member, during their freshman year. The engineering LLC allows freshman engineering and applied science students to live together on one floor of a residence hall, take similar courses, meet with faculty mentors throughout the year, and participate in special group activities both in the residence hall and off campus. Living Learning Community students are also provided with tutoring services in their residence hall. The experience of the LLC program has been extremely pleasing and positive, while increasing the persistence of these students.
