Involvement

Carolyn volunteers at Stamford Hospital and at various nutrition-related programs and events to gain experience in the field. She has earned a spot on the Dean’s List at the end of both of her semesters at UNH and has been inducted into the Omicron Nu Kappa honor society, which recognizes academic excellence in nutrition and dietetics.

Hope for the future

"I graduated from UConn in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences. I decided I needed to go back to school to continue my education. I am now studying to become a registered dietician."

Why she is grateful

"I loved studying nutrition as an undergraduate, but I didn’t do as well as I could have academically. UNH has given me a second chance to prove to myself and others that I can excel in this profession. I am doing better than ever, and I know UNH will open many doors for me in the field of nutrition. Through this support, I am well on my way to achieving my academic and personal goals."
