Recipient: Arthur H. Moulton Distinguished Scholar Award
InvolvementJeffrey is the president of UNH’s student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and he is a teacher’s assistant in the Tagliatela College of Engineering. He also worked with the Admissions Office, giving tours to prospective students, and participated in the University’s Phonathon program. He impressed an alumna so much during one phone call that she gave him a recommendation for an internship at Coca Cola, and he was selected for the position.
Hope For the Future
He plans to work as a chemical engineer. “I am leaning toward the nuclear engineering field and hope to work for a nuclear power plant,” he said. “I also intend to earn my MBA and hope to be able to start my own business someday.”
Why He is Grateful
“Scholarship support has been an absolute lifesaver for myself and my family,” he said. “Without my scholarships, I wouldn’t have been able to attend UNH. Speaking with generous donors firsthand while working for the Phonathon has made me appreciate how much our alumni care about current students and the future success of the University. I am extremely appreciative of both the University’s help and the help of our alumni.”
