Fall 2023 Pre-Registration Details
The Fall 2023 course schedule is now available in myCharger in Self Service Banner (SSB) for all students, however it is still being fine-tuned. Course details may change before registration begins, so be sure to check SSB regularly to make sure that your plan for registration is not impacted.

Men's Basketball Falls in NE-10 Title Game; Awaits NCAA Tournament Bracket Release
The men's basketball team lost to St. Anselm in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship game on Saturday evening, 65-54. With the loss, New Haven falls to 20-10 on the season and will await the announcement of the NCAA Division II Playoff field for a potential at-large bid.
The NCAA selection show is scheduled for 11:00 p.m. on Sunday and can be seen live on NCAA.com, which will also have the full bracket. If the Chargers are selected, more coverage will be available on www.newhavenchargers.com.

Sign Ups Are Open For Solar Eclipse Field Trips
Do you have an interest in seeing a solar eclipse? Would you like to be involved in hands-on projects to build payloads and fly balloons up to 100,000 feet that will monitor weather and ozone layers during the eclipse?
If so, we have two field trip opportunities for you!
The first will be in October, and the next will be in April 2024.
All expenses are covered for these field trips, and all students are welcome.

The University of New Haven’s Charger Game Jam is back! If you have an interest in gaming, want to get an inside look at what it takes to create a video game, and more, then Game Jam is for you!
Join us for an immersive and collaborative (and FREE!) online experience April 21 - 23.

This Game Jam is open to all current University of New Haven students, as well as high school students, their parents or teachers, and newly accepted University of New Haven students!

OTLs assist new students and families in the adjustment of becoming members of the University of New Haven community during both the summer and fall.
Applications are now due by Monday, March 6 at 9 a.m.

REMINDER: Applications for a Summer Research Opportunity Open March 6 - 20
The 2023 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program is a 10-week research experience planned for May 30 - August 4. Undergraduate students from all years (with the exception of seniors graduating before December 2023) are eligible to apply, and projects from all disciplines, including interdisciplinary projects, are encouraged.
The online application will be open starting Monday, March 6, through noon on Monday, March 20.
Info about the application process, program requirements, a list of potential mentors, and resources for preparing a competitive proposal are being posted on the SURF page on myCharger. For questions, please email surf@newhaven.edu.

In case you missed it, the Summer 2023 course schedule is available in Self Service Banner, for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Three sessions will be offered for summer courses:

Sachem Financial and University of New Haven Collaborate to Power New Business Sustainability Program
Sachem Financial announced that it will be releasing an education program to support small and medium-sized businesses. The program, designed by the University of New Haven's Pompea College of Business, will be offered at no charge to businesses that attained either the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) or Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans. This program delivers content to best prepare business owners and operators for long-term sustainability.
