💡 Tip of the Month
Prepare for the 2025-2026 FAFSA
As a reminder, the US Department of Education is indicating that the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be available on or before December 1, 2024. Students who are eligible to file a FAFSA will be notified via their University email once the form is available to complete. Updates regarding the 2025-2026 FAFSA can be found here.
How to Prepare:
- Create an Account and Username (FSA ID) for studentaid.gov (if you do not have one).
- If you are a dependent student, your parent(s) will need their own FSA ID as well.
- Parents without a social security number can create an FSA ID after the 2025-2026 FAFSA becomes available.
- Gather your 2023 tax and income information.
- Complete your FAFSA as soon as it becomes available.
- Monitor your University email account for updates and information requests.
