About Jaylah

Jaylah will join the Counseling and Psychological Services Staff at the University of New Haven in the Fall of 2022. Jaylah is a third-year Master of Science in Clinical Counseling student at Albertus Magnus and will be completing her degree, as well as her supervised field experience in May of 2023. Prior to joining the staff at the University, Jaylah completed field experience in clinical case management and assessment with people experiencing homelessness in the Greater New Haven area. She uses person-centered approaches and techniques from the Gestalt psychotherapeutic orientation. Jaylah is a black women and hopes to foster and accept the myriad of identities, cultures, and ethnicities that form the backgrounds of the students she works with.
