Katarina Younis, M.A.

About Katarina

I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in English, and later from Western Connecticut State University with my M.A. in English Literature. I have taught English at many different institutions, focusing on creative writing and Intro to Literature courses. My passion for Higher Education started after landing my first job out of graduate school in Undergraduate Admissions, where I traveled all over New England meeting students from different backgrounds. I really enjoy being able to connect with people and I love helping them to achieve their educational goals.

In my free time I like spending time with my son. I am also an avid painter and I create jewelry, having run my own custom jewelry business for a few years. I also enjoy writing in my spare time.
