National Security Living Learning Community
Are you considering a career in national security? Are you interested in learning more about military policy and intelligence analysis? Do you want to meet practitioners responsible for crafting foreign policy or take tours of America’s premiere military academies?
If so, the National Security Living Learning Community is for you. The LLC is designed for students serious about pursuing careers in national security, including military policy, diplomacy, intelligence analysis, and information protection. The National Security LLC will complement your academic experience through guided tours of the nation’s most renowned national security institutions, such as West Point, the Coast Guard Academy, and the Naval War College. The LLC also invites guest speakers for a more intimate opportunity to meet current or former practitioners of national security.
Ultimately, through the National Security LLC you will build connections with your classmates and special relationships with faculty who will be your mentors long beyond your time at the University of New Haven. What Does an LLC Advisor Do?
The LLC Advisor serves as a mentor to the residents. The advisor works closely with the Resident Assistant to plan events and trips centered around the theme of the LLC.
