Our Students Come First
Our students come first at University of New Haven – and that includes our prospective students, too! We are excited to meet and continue getting to know our next group of Future Chargers and their families. The safety of our prospective students and their families, as well as our campus community, is a top priority for us. So, while our admissions programs have been modified to follow new protocols, we are still just as excited to welcome you and your family:
Come see our campus. We'd love to welcome you to visit our campus in person! Currently, you can sign up for campus visit options including information sessions and tours, open houses, major-specific open houses, and our popular drive-thru campus tour option. We regularly keep tabs on the everchanging conditions of the pandemic – so be sure to check out our main visit page for the latest status of our on-campus visits.
Explore the University of New Haven virtually. While our virtual visits are jam-packed with content, we also include options for us to get to know you better. Our admissions counselors offer virtual interviews, information sessions with live campus tours, and more.
We want to answer your questions. Whether you're looking for more information about your academic program, would like to find out when we may be visiting your school, need to learn more about living on campus, or hope to discuss the cost of attendance, you have a direct contact in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions that can begin to address those concerns. Contact us to set up a phone call, a Zoom session, or even send us a text to get the conversation started.
We're right there with you. Just like you, we understand the importance of making the right choice on where to attend college. That is why at the University of New Haven we have adjusted our admissions process to help streamline your application process and admissions decision. We are test optional for many of our majors and essay optional for all applicants. We want to get to know you and hear how you plan on pursing your goals!
Let's talk about deadlines. We cannot wait to receive your application for admission. For new, first-time students, we offer two binding forms of admission and two non-binding ways to apply. Non-binding Early Action admission is our most popular choice – so be sure to mark your calendars with our December 15 deadline. Transfer and part-time applicants can take advantage or our rolling admission policy and, like first-time students, can look forward to hearing from us soon! Our team of admissions counselors is here to help, so don’t hesitate to share any questions you may have!
