What You'll Do at the CSI Academy

During this hands-on, immersive experience, you'll explore the world of crime scene investigation, from the first moments at a crime scene to presenting findings to real investigators. At the CSI Academy, you’ll:

  • Learn about important Forensic Principles – Dive into the evolution of crime scene investigations, and the principles which guide the investigative process.
  • Determine the Value of Physical Evidence – Learn about different types of physical evidence and what it’s analysis can provide to investigators.
  • Process Evidence for Fingerprints – Gain experience in one of the most essential aspects of criminal investigations by analyzing and processing fingerprint evidence.
  • Cast Footwear Impressions – Learn how to preserve valuable evidence like footwear impressions to uncover vital clues at a crime scene.
  • Investigate and Document a Crime Scene – Step into the role of a CSI by investigating a simulated crime scene and documenting all evidence.
  • Collect and Package Evidence – Master the critical skill of evidence collection and preservation, ensuring its condition for forensic analysis.
  • Present Your Findings – Present your findings to a panel of real investigators, simulating the final step in any investigation.
