Abigail Burkhardt
About Abigail
I graduated from James Madison University in 2012 with a BA in International Affairs and a minor in Chinese Business. During my time at JMU I was able to take advantage of many opportunities outside of the classroom which allowed me to study abroad in China, as well as to intern in Washington D.C.
Upon graduating, I moved to China to teach English for one year. Through this experience I was able to work with high school aged students, many of whom wished to study in the U.S. This experience led me to where I am now; working in higher education, helping international students to pursue their educational goals in the U.S. It is so satisfying working with students through the application process and then finally meeting them once they join us on campus.
I look forward to working with you to show you all that the University of New Haven can offer!
