About Collette
I am from Massapequa Park, Long Island, NY and I graduated from the University of New Haven in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration of Investigative Services and a minor of Psychology with a concentration of Forensic Psychology. During my undergraduate time, I was an active member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority and assisted in fundraising for our many philanthropies.
During my junior and senior years, I interned with the Nassau Country Crime Scene Unit and the NYPD. After graduating, I went on to get my Masters in Criminal Justice at the C.W. Post and began working as a Crime Victims Advocate within the NYPD. I later went on to be a foster care case planner with an agency partnered with ACS NY. While there, I worked with many teens who were starting out in their college journeys and found the aspect of assisting them plan out the next steps of their lives very fulfilling. I am excited to work with prospective students and their families as they begin their own journeys into higher education and find a home at the University of New Haven.
