About Darell

Darell Singleterry is the Director of the MBA Program at the University of New Haven. Before coming to the University of New Haven, he was a career military officer with the United States Coast Guard. During his decorated career he became a member of the Permanent Commissioned Teaching Staff within the Department of Leadership and Management and served nearly 20 years at the Coast Guard Academy. Prior to joining the Department of Management, CDR Singleterry served a tour in the Office of Admissions and as a Law Enforcement officer onboard the USCGC Forward.  During his tenure at the Academy, CDR Singleterry has taught of variety of management/ leadership courses, supervised a number of student consulting/ entrepreneurship projects, mentored athletes as an assistant football/wrestling coach, served as the Director of Academic Advising, Deputy & Interim Chair, Department of Management for a number of years.  In addition, Darell has a number of years coaching teams through leadership consulting, project management and entrepreneurial ventures. His applied research and consulting practice is devoted to helping executives and their organizations manage growth and execute business strategy.
