About Emma

I graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2023 with a bachelor's in Psychological Sciences and minors in English and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During my time at UConn, I was involved in campus life as the Vice President of Honors for Diversity, the Treasurer of CareCakes, a research assistant in the Lay Theories of Prejudice Lab, and a peer mentor in the UConn Connects program. I have always had an interest in working with students, and my involvement in various organizations on campus during my time as an undergraduate student sparked my interest in a career in higher education.

I joined the Undergraduate Admissions team at the University of New Haven in October 2023 as the Assistant Director of Events, and I love planning events for prospective and accepted students and their families. I also have the privilege of working with our Charger Ambassadors, student tour guides who really enhance the visit experience!
