Monique Golden, Ph.D.
About Monique
Dr. Golden comes to UNH with research and program management experience centered on student development, academic success and career readiness. She hold a bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, where she grew a fondness for solving complex problems in large systems, and took on various student leadership roles which deepened her project management and presentation skills. She came to CT in 2013 to earn her MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs (2015) and PhD in Leadership in Education Policy (2021) from the University of Connecticut where her research interests broadened to cover topics such as factors impacting persistence, learning communities, school choice, and perfectionism. Upon completing her PhD, she worked at XPRIZE as the Education & Society Technical Lead managing multimillion dollar incentivized competitions rewaring teams innovative technologies positively impacting workforce development and student learning outcomes.
